Loafin’ Life Bakery
New bakery located at 79 Manchester Street

MANCHESTER, NHLoafin’ Life Bakery opened over the weekend at 79 Manchester Street. Open at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. on Saturdays, the bakery sells a selection of breakfast sandwiches, like egg, cheese and bacon ($3.50) or egg and cheese ($2.25) all on your choice of croissant, biscuit, toast or English muffin. Other breakfast items include muffins ($1.50), cinnamon rolls ($1.75) and scone ($1.75).

Starting today, Hanover Street Chop House is opening for lunch, Wednesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.

Looking for late night eats? Mint Bistro serves food until 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays. The menu includes an extensive  selection of tapas, entrees and sushi.

The folks behind UnWine’d have decided to merge the wine bar with their breakfast-lunch spot in Goffstown, Key West Café. The Second Street restaurant is currently undergoing a renovation, and will re-open on September 16 at 7 a.m. for breakfast. The new restaurant will be called Unwined: Key West Café & Grill and the menu will feature Caribbean inspired dishes.

Deal alert: 900 Degrees offers buy one signature pizza, get one free on Tuesdays. Dine in only, after 5 p.m., restrictions apply.

Funktion has officially opened. Located at 931 Elm Street, they are serving lunch and dinner and Sunday brunch. The lunch menu is a mix of salads and sandwiches.  The dinner menu is an eclectic assortment of mix and match small plates that allows you to build your meal or create a tasting menu with friends. Brunch includes a build-your -own Bloody Mary Bar ($8), and options from traditional breakfast to lunch.

Portland Pie Company offers game day specials for the football season: $3-$5-$7 appetizers, $4 Jack Daniels cocktails, $7 Bud Light and Mille Lite pitchers, and $9 Shipyard pitchers.

This weekend: the ‘Wickedly popular’ Wicked Wine & Brew Fest is of the biggest and wine and beer events in New Hampshire and is being held on Saturday, September 12 from 2 p.m. -6 p.m. at Funway Park, 454 Charles Bancroft Hwy, Litchfield. New England vintners and brewers, local craftsman and vendors, live and live entertainment. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, $5 for cildren and designated drivers.

This weekend: Hampton Beach Seafood Festival, September 11 – Sunday, September 13. Tickets are $5 per person, admission does not include food or drinks.
