New restaurant. After 20 years, Avandi’s, located at 87 Nashua Rd., Londonderry has closed, and word is Pasquale’s Ristorante & Brick Oven Pizzera of Candia will open a second location in that space over the summer. Pasquale’s offers a menu of classic Italian dishes, like calamari fritti ($9.99), pappardelle con braciola ($21.99), veal saltimbocca ($21.99), eggplant parmigiana ($10.99), and frutti di Mare ($25.99), plus an extensive menu of  pizza cooked in their brick oven.

Two buck shuck. Chen’s Garden now serves raw oysters, priced at $2 each during happy hour from 3-5 p.m.

NH exclusive. The New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) recently hand-selected eight barrels of Knob Creek® Single Barrel Reserve – or the equivalent of about 1,250 bottles – to offer exclusively to New Hampshire customers. Knob Creek® Single Barrel Reserve, which is produced at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky, will be available at select NH Liquor & Wine Outlets beginning this week. At 120 proof and aged a minimum nine years, Knob Creek® Single Barrel Reserve will retail for $46.99 per 750ml bottle. Knob Creek® Single Barrel Reserve will be available for the discounted price of $41.99 for a limited time only at select NH Liquor & Wine Outlets.

Sweet news. Krispy Kreme has announced that it will be bringing its glazed goodness to South Willow Street in Manchester, Amherst Street in Nashua, Broadway in Salem and a location on the Seacoast.

Savor spring. The Foundry has a new spring menu.  Look for roast duck breast with asparagus creamed lentils ($28), sweet pea and mascarpone ravioli ($19), and crab stuffed (603) 836-1925 for reservations.

Take me out to the ball game. The Patio at the Hilton Garden Inn, overlooking the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium now has a pergola, making the space usable rain or shine. Check out The Patio’s menu here.

New brunch spot. The Thirsty Moose now offers Sunday brunch at its Manchester location. The menu includes biscuits & gravy ($8.99), breakfast potato skins  ($8.99) and a selection of Benedicts and scrambles. Brunch is served 10:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Free fondue Fridays. Purchase two entrees at UnWined Key West Cafe & Grill and receive a free cheese or chocolate fondue from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
