Heading out this weekend? Be sure and check if your favorite spot is open. Several restaurants are closed for the long weekend, including; Hanover Street Chophouse, which reopens July 6, Billy’s Sports Bar will be closed July 2, 3 and 4th and Cotton is closed for vacation July 4 to 11.
Big flavors and big personalities, the Phantom Gourmet LOVES The Gyro Spot! In April, Phantom Gourmet filmed an episode at Gyro Spot on Elm Street. The episode aired last week, and if you missed it, you can watch it here.
Congratulations! Mint Bistro is turning 5 and to celebrate they will be offering a special menu June 30 to July 7 with a variety of $5 items. Check their Facebook page for details.
You may want to keep this to yourself. Saigon Asian Market, 476 Union Street, sells banh mi sandwiches on Saturday mornings. The sandwiches are available in barbecued beef and ham and sell out pretty quickly. The order arrives at 11 a.m. and you’ll find them in the front of the store.
