MANCHESTER, NH – It’s hot, so cool off with pho or a sundae bar. Take a class and get your crew together for authentic tacos with BYOB. Enjoy the weather and when you visit one of these food gems, tell them Manchester Ink Link sent you.

phanPhantom Foodie: The Phantom Gourmet is filming an episode at The Flying Butcher in Amherst from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Friday, June 3.  The public is welcome, but they ask that you register here so they have a head count.  Also featured will be Vinilandia Wines and 603 Brewing with tastings.

Pho real: Saigon Noodles opened last November and the buzz around this Lincoln Street  place’s authentic Vietnamese pho has been huge. Located in the former Mad Bob’s location, the space has been overhauled. The neighborhood, just off of Valley Street, is evolving into a haven for ethnic eats.  At Saigon Noodle there’s eight different varieties of pho, and it is served in two sizes, large ($10.50) and medium ($9.50). The menu also includes Vietnamese shrimp crepes ($8.99), a variety of lo mein, large ($9.50) and medium ($8.50) and shrimp spring rolls ($5.49). There’s no website, so call (603) 264-3420 with questions, or find them on Facebook.

Go back to school: There’s still time to register for LaBelle Winery’s June 8 cooking class honoring the strawberry. Priced at $25, you’ll learn how to make four items, all paired with wine. Class starts at 6 p.m. Register early, LaBelle’s cooking classes typically sell out. Details here.
