Big breakfast at Chez Vachon

MANCHESTER, NH – As the holidays wind down and some of us get ready to launch New Year’s Resolutions, we find New Year’s Day our one last chance to consume calories without all the guilt. Plus, who doesn’t love brunch following a night out? We called around and put together a list of restaurants open on January 1 and serving breakfast. Note, the restaurants that are open said they are typically super busy, so plan accordingly. Know of a restaurant we missed? Let us know and we’ll add them to the list. Happy New Year’s!

Make a reservation now for Gauchos buffet brunch on New Year’s Day from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. The buffet includes hot and cold dishes, carving stations, salad bar and desserts. In addition, there is a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. The buffet alone is priced at $16.95 per person, and $10.95 for children under 10.

Recover from your New Year’s festivities at How’s Your Onion in Derry. Open regular hours on New Year’s day, the huge menu at this café spans everything from breakfast served all day to burgers, sandwiches and entrees.
