MANCHESTER, NH — With Thanksgiving behind us, the holiday season has officially started. Check Manchester Bites each Wednesday for all the latest holiday menus and events in and around Manchester.

Copper Door is offering a special Christmas Eve menu with your choice of two-courses ($59 per person), three-courses ($69 per person ) and four-courses ($79 per person). Each course offers a wide selection of choices, like short rib manicotti and tuna tartar for starters, and for entrees: shrimp and scallop carbonara, bone-in New York strip and five-spice roasted duck. This menu is available 4 p.m.- 10 p.m.

Finesse Pastries has a new winter menu full of holiday treats, like peppermint bark, gingerbread, chocolate praline, and peppermint macarons. Place your order for Christmas early!

Get in the holiday spirit at Noel’s Tree Farm in Litchfield where you can cut down your own tree and then relax around the fire pit roasting marshmallows (for sale at the stand). On Sundays from 1-3 p.m. visit with Santa, enjoy a free hayride and complimentary hot chocolate.

Throughout December Hanover Street Chophouse is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 2 :30 p.m. with a special holiday menu.

The Thirsty Moose Taphouse opened to a packed house last weekend. Located at 795 Elm St. in the former JW Hills location, this taphouse also serves up a menu of classic pub dishes.

Celebrations Kitchen has officially opened at 1017 Second St. in the former Amato’s location. This new restaurant is part of Celebrations Catering, a longtime New Hampshire business. The menu includes sandwiches on organic, artisan bread, entrees and soups and salads. Look for hot open face sandwiches ($9), homemade meatballs with pasta ($9), and carved dinner entrees ($9) like roasted chicken, honey ham and roast beef with two sides.

Heading north on Rte. 93? The Common Man Roadside North in Hooksett has a new menu of specialty burgers made with local beef ($8.50). Cooked quickly so you can get back on the road, it’s a nice alternative to drive-up fast food.

Jack Daniels Single Barrel whiskey

Perfect gift for the whiskey lover in your life: the New Hampshire Liquor Commission recently bought 15 barrels of Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel whiskey which is now being sold at state liquor stores. The purchase – a record – is the equivalent of 3,750 bottles. According to a press release, the single barrel whiskey is priced at $44.99 a bottle, which is inscribed with “Granite State Collection Record Setting 15 Bottles in 2015.”
