CONCORD, N.H. – Ten Manchester-area craftsmen have been announced as part of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen’s upcoming NH Open Doors series.

Now in its 14th year, artisans and craftsmen from across the state will provide a behind-the-scenes look at their work, which includes glass blowing, jewelry, wooden ware, pottery and more.

The league will also be hosting an event in Portsmouth called CRAFTED, which will host 40 artisans from across the state, with Manchester’s Shopper’s Pub and Eatery providing food.

“We’re always looking for new ways to bring art and fine craft to people where they are. NH Open Doors and its new event in Portsmouth, CRAFTED, allows us to do just that,” said Miriam Carter, Executive Director, League of NH Craftsmen. “CRAFTED is perfect for Portsmouth, with its vibrant arts and food scene. If guests can’t make it to CRAFTED, they can visit with craftsmen and businesses across the state, getting a peek behind the curtain, with NH Open Doors. No matter which event our guests choose to participate in, they will leave with a deep appreciation of fine craft.”

Both NH Open Doors and CRAFTED will take place on the weekend of Nov. 2-3.
