Capture 1MANCHESTER, NH – On Wednesday morning, Manchester Alderman-at-large Joseph Kelly Levasseur tweeted that FBI agent Peter Strzok should be “hung by a rope.”

The tweet was in response to a Fox News post retweeting Trey Gowdy on the matter.

Strzok was escorted out of FBI headquarters on Friday as part of an ongoing internal disciplinary investigation related to Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information.

Strzok, one of the agents assigned to the investigation, was found to have made text messages in 2016 opposed to then presidential candidate Donald Trump.

According to multiple news sources, Strzok is still employed with the FBI as the disciplinary investigation continues.

In Levasseur’s tweet, he described Strok’s actions as treasonous, but declined to comment further on the matter to Manchester Ink Link.

After a request for comment from Manchester Ink Link on Wednesday afternoon, Levasseur locked his Twitter feed to only confirmed followers of his account.

Levasseur has a history of making controversial statements. In 2014, he was censured by the Board of Aldermen after he alleged intimidation by members of the Manchester Police Department.
