MANCHESTER, NH – Several officers responded to the City Library at approximately 4:30 p.m. yesterday to remove an unwanted subject from the building. Inside, they spoke with a security officer who claimed the man in question had previously been trespassed a week prior by security staff.

According to a police narrative, officers made contact with Clifford Etadafimue, 21, no fixed address, inside of the library. The officers spoke with Etadafimue about the previous trespass order and asked him to vacate the facility. He continuously ignored the officer’s commands and engaged in a brief struggle as they attempted to place him into custody for criminal trespassing. Etadafimue resisted the officers as they attempted to place handcuffs on his wrists while continuously flailing his arms and legs.

One of the three officers deployed the department issued taser to subdue Etadafimue, who stands at 7-feet-2-inches tall, after he repeatedly kicked Officer Sarah Kulig’s knee. He finally conceded and was placed into handcuffs and transported to police headquarters. He was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and resisting arrest/detention and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on September 25, 2018.
