MANCHESTER, NH— Manchester Police were called to Bunny’s Convenience, located at 947 Elm St., at approximately 10:30 p.m. May 23 after the clerk called to report an attempted robbery. The clerk said a white male entered the store around 10:25 p.m. and purchased an item.

The clerk opened the cash drawer to retrieve change for the purchase. It was at this time the man stated he was armed with a handgun and demanded money from the register. The clerk said no — partly because she thought he was joking and because additional customers walked into the store at the time of the attempted robbery. The clerk never saw a handgun, so it is unknown if the man was actually armed.

The suspect fled toward Amherst Street as soon as she refused to provide cash from the register. He is described as approximately 5-foot-11 inches tall, with an average build, a five o’clock shadow and a triangle-shaped tattoo on his left wrist/arm.

Please contact the Manchester Police Department at 668-8711, reference Case # 18-7708 if you can identify the man pictured here. You may be eligible for a cash reward should your tip lead to the arrest and identification of the man responsible for the attempted robbery.
