MANCHESTER, NH — Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city’s West Side Nov. 3 that has been classified as a homicide.

Michael Pittman, 37, of 472 Granite Street was shot at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday night outside his home. While the investigation is in the initial stages, the facts collected at this time indicate that this homicide was not random, said Foster in a statement released Wednesday morning.

Until the shooter is in custody, Foster says the public should remain vigilant.

Pittman’s autopsy will be conducted Nov. 4 by the Chief Medical Examiner.
