Man seen taking items from parked cars flees from hit-and-run accident, found hiding in woods

MANCHESTER, NH – On October 14, 2018, at approximately 9:38 p.m., Manchester Patrol Officers responded to Robert Hall Road for a report of a hit-and-run accident in which the driver of the vehicle involved fled the accident scene on foot.

During the course of the investigation witnesses told Officer Jordan Diangneault driver was seen taking items from parked vehicles in the area prior to the accident. Officer Tucker and his K9 partner Sabre responded to the accident scene and after a lengthy track located Nicholas Walker, 29, of Litchfield, hiding in the woods.

Walker was taken into custody without incident and charged with conduct after an accident, OUIL, theft by unauthorized taking, criminal mischief, and violation of bail. He is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on October 15, 2018.
