Man injured after shooting on Beech Street

MANCHESTER, NH – At 10:39 p.m. on December 4, the Manchester Police responded to 536 Beech St. for a report of a gunshot. Upon arriving, a man, 30, was located inside suffering from a single gunshot to the leg. The victim was conscious and being treated on scene by MFD and AMR before being transported to a local area hospital.

The victim is a city resident but does not live at that address. The injury appears to be non-life threatening. The shooter fled the area prior to police arriving.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated. Manchester Police are working on a canvass of the area to locate any possible witnesses. The investigation is still early, but police do not believe there is a current danger to the general public.
