Man injured in early-morning stabbing on Beech Street

Police say the attack does not appear to be random.

Screen Shot 2017 05 01 at 9.18.19 AMMANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to the area of Beech and Central street at approximately 4:50 a.m. on May 1 where they were met by a man who was the victim of a stabbing. The man, 29, was bleeding from his chest area while speaking with officers.

A crew from AMR arrived and transported the man to an area hospital. The man, whose name was not released by police, sustained a laceration on his chest and is currently being treated for a serious, but non-life threatening injury. 

Police say it does not appear to be a random attack, but details are limited at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

More details are expected as the investigation is completed, said Manchester Police Lt. Brian O’Keefe.
