MANCHESTER, NH — A 39-year-old man was seriously injured after after taking a 200-foot tumble down a steep trail on Rock Rimmon Sept. 1.
Rescuers found the man on the trail leading to the playground area at approximately 11 p.m.
Fire officials said the victim, whose name was not released, suffered head trauma along with several lacerations and possible fractures.
Crews from Rescue 1 along with Engine 5 and 6 set up a low-angle rescue line to lower the victim down the trail head to a waiting ambulance, officials said.
