Man found unconscious outside Central Ale House after assault

MANCHESTER, NH — Police are investigating a serious assault at Central Ale House early Thursday morning that left a man unconscious and clinging to life.

 The alleged assault took place outside of the business, located at 23 Central St., at approximately 1 a.m.

Officers were notified that an unconscious man was in the alley,  just west of the bar. Additional officers arrived on scene to assist with the assault investigation.

The  victim, 32,  sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital for medical treatment. The investigation is active and ongoing.
