MANCHESTER, NH — Around 8:20 p.m. on July 1, 2019, Manchester Police responded to 199 Manchester St. for a report of an unconscious man. The man was laying on the road in front of the homeless shelter and was bleeding from his ear. He had multiple serious injuries including a fractured skull and brain bleed, and was rushed to a local hospital.

UPDATE: ‘Who’s the worst? The person who did it or the people who watched it and did nothing?’

Bystanders were unable to give police a clear account of what happened or who was responsible. But through interviews, police were able to determine this was the second fight the victim had gotten into that day. It was reported that the first altercation happened near Down The Block convenience store and as a result, the victim was stabbed. The victim was found to have lacerations on his hand and shoulder that doctors determined to have happened earlier.

This investigation is ongoing. If you have any information please call Manchester Police at 668-8711 or the Crimeline at 624-4040.
