MANCHESTER, NH – Benjamin Falvella, 27, of Manchester, was arrested July 18 in connection with four armed robberies, two on July 12 and 2 on July 17.

Falvella was arrested by police Saturday night outside of his Lincoln Street apartment and was due in district court July 20.

Police charged Falvella with the four robberies – one each at Cumberland Farms, 275 Hanover St., and A&A Market, 540 Hall St., on July 12 and again at those two locations on July 17. Police say Falvella used a knife in each case and got away with cash in three of the four incidents. In the last attempt a clerk chased Falvella from the store before he could get money.

Meanwhile, detectives continue to investigate two other robberies, one at the Eddy Road Mobil, which occurred Thursday July 16 at 11:20 p.m., and one at All Town Mobil, 2391 Brown Ave., which happened at 10:55 p.m. on July 19.

The robber in that incident is described as a white male, approximately 50 years old, brown eyes, shaved head and thin build. He brandished a three-inch knife during the robbery and fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.
