MANCHESTER, N.H. – After extensive investigation, police have arrested 25-year-old Michael Roberson on charges of alleged first-degree assault. The arrest stems back to an incident on June 30, 2019 where Roberson was responsible for the care of a 3-month-old baby boy.

That child was brought to Elliot Hospital after a seizure. After the child was evaluated, the child was found to have clear signs of trauma, including a brain bleed.

Police indicate that Roberson was the person who called 911 for emergency services related to the child and allege that the injuries the child suffered were not accidental.

Anyone charged with a crime is innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
