MANCHESTER, NH – A tenant dispute led to the arrest on Monday of Eliezer Calo, 52,  of 5 Clifford Avenue, Apt. #4, who was charged with reckless conduct after throwing a steak knife at a fellow tenant following a shouting match.

According to a police narrative, on August  29 at 4:50 p.m., officers responded to 5 Clifford Avenue for an argument between tenants. Investigating officers determined that there has been an ongoing feud between two parties.

The victim in this case reported to police that upon arriving home, he was confronted within the common hallway by Eliezer Calo, who was yelling at him in Spanish and waving around a steak knife.

The victim shouted back as he entered his apartment. At that point, Calo allegedly threw a steak knife toward the victim’s head, striking the apartment door. The victim quickly closed his apartment door and called the police. Responding officers located Calo within the hallway, still in possession of the steak knife.

Calo was scheduled to be arraigned August 30 in the 9th Circuit District Manchester to answer to the charge of reckless conduct, a felony.
