MANCHESTER, NH – Richard Lamarche, 41, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault, witness tampering, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and acts prohibited, at the conclusion of a nine-month investigation.

Detective Brian Attardo of the Manchester Police Juvenile Unit met with the victim’s mother (the victim was a juvenile at the time of the incidents) in March of 2016. The now 18-year-old victim told her mother that Lamarche had engaged in sexual activity with her while providing her with heroin during the past three years.

Lamarche allegedly physically assaulted the juvenile victim in December of 2015 which prompted him to tell her to “deny it all” if police became involved with the investigation.

The 9th Circuit Court-Manchester issued an arrest warrant for Richard Lamarche based on the aforementioned facts and he was picked up on the arrest warrant on January 27. He was picked up in the area of Cypress Street at 7:30 a.m. without incident. He will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 30, 2017.
