MANCHESTER, NH – A man was arrested in connection with a domestic dispute in which he allegedly pointed a gun at a relative at a residence on Bridge Street.

According to a police narrative of the initial investigation, on February 1 just after 9:30 p.m. officers responded to the residence for a call involving an argument involving a weapon. A perimeter was established around the residence. Officers began to call for the residents of the home to come outside. Multiple people exited the residence and were detained and interviewed.

The residence was then cleared by officers and no injured parties were located.

During the initial police investigation, officers learned that a weapon was pointed at one of the residents, a 23-year-old male, who told police Leo Fortier, 47, had threatened him with a gun. Fortier was arrested and charged with domestic criminal threatening.

Bail was set at $10,000 cash or surety. He was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on February 2, 2017 for arraignment on the charge.
