MANCHESTER, NH – A Queen City man was arrested at approximately 9:25 a.m. on June 5 after he allegedly threatened several women walking in the area of Davis Street near Stark Park.
Officers spoke with three women standing in the yard of a River Road home shortly after the alleged incident occurred.
A police narrative of the incident follows:
A 57-year-old woman was walking her dog on Davis Street when she noticed an irate man standing next to a gray Acura yelling at an unknown man, who was standing at the end of a Davis Street driveway. A short time later, the person standing next to the Acura, later identified as Dylan Andrews, 24, of Manchester, walked up to the front door of the Davis Street address and began knocking, but quickly turned his attention toward the woman and her dog walking on Davis Street.
The woman told police Andrews began making threatening comments and on two separate occasions told her he would kill her. She was fearful of the Andrews, so she quickly walked away from the area and eventually ran into a woman who happened to be jogging on River Road. Fortunately, the woman, 64, had a cell phone so the they contacted police while standing in front of a River Road home. Andrews repeatedly drove past the two women as they waited for police.
A third woman, a 58-year-old Manchester resident, exited the River Road home when she witnessed the two women standing in her yard. She briefly spoke with them when Andrews drove into the driveway, exited his vehicle and approached all three women. Andrews allegedly walked up to the three women and repeatedly threatened to kill each of them. Sgt. John Cunningham arrived and instantly separated the man from the three women and eventually placed him under arrest.
Andrews was charged with two counts of stalking, four counts of criminal threatening and one count criminal trespass. Andrews is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on June 6, 2018.
