Man arrested on multiple charges after allegedly threatening another with gun

MANCHESTER, NH — Afternee King, 18, faces multiple charges after he allegedly threatened another man with a gun Saturday.

According to the following police narrative, just after 5 p.m. on December 10, 2016, police officers responded to the area of 329 Merrimack St. for a report of a threat with a firearm. Kolby Richard, 19, who resides at that address, reported he was threatened by Anfernee King, 18,  of 65 Ash St., Manchester, when King showed up at his door with a gun in his hand. King then allegedly fled in a silver Nissan Maxima.

Officer Gillotte had diverted to the Ash Street address and observed a silver Nissan Maxima coming up the alley to the Ash Street address. King got out of the vehicle, as did Officer Gillotte, who then shouted at King to stop.

King instead fled into the address where Officer Gillotte gave chase. King was taken into custody inside the address.

While in custody, officers found a baggie of Xanax pills on King. A later search of King’s apartment resulted in the seizure of a 9 mm Hi-Point semi-automatic handgun, 3.55 ounces of marijuana and .941 ounces of cocaine. King was charged with: two counts of possession of controlled drug (felony); 1 count of possession of controlled drug (misdemeanor); 1 count of criminal threatening (felony); 1 count of falsifying physical evidence; and 1 count of resisting arrest or detention.

Additionally, King had a hold put on him by probation. He is due to be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court Manchester on Monday, December 12th.
