MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police responded to two separate locations in 24 hours and arrested Justin Cassidy, 29, of Manchester, on each occasion.

Manchester Police were called to Mr. Mike’s, 1932 Wellington Road on May 3 at 3:25 a.m. for an unwanted customer. Police determined Cassidy was under the influence of either drugs or alcohol when he refused to leave the store. He was unable to care for himself, due to his level of intoxication, so they placed him into protective custody and towed his vehicle, a 2001 VW Golf. A search incident to arrest revealed he was in possession of one suboxone strip, so he was charged with possession of controlled drug. He appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on May 3, 2018.

At 3:20 a.m. Cassidy was caught in the area of Precision Towing, 1065 Hanover St., after the owner noticed after there was a report of a person trespassing inside of his secured tow lot. He noticed a shirtless Cassidy seated in the driver’s seat of the 2001 VW Golf with the headlights on, so he contacted police. Cassidy gained entry to the secured lot by cutting through the chain link fence, which caused approximately $500 damage.

Cassidy fled the secured tow yard prior to police arrival, but was located in the parking lot of Mobil Gas, 1095 Hanover St., moments after police arrived on scene. He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass and loitering/prowling. He is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 4, 2018.
