Man arrested following June barber shop incident

MANCHESTER, N.H. – On July 15, Manchester Police arrested 28-year-old John Cedeno-Santana near the corner of Beech Street and Laurel Street.

On June 29, a surveillance video allegedly showed Cedeno-Santana following a man into Eddy’s Barber Shop on Maple Street. The video then showed Cedeno-Santana and a colleague punching the man, with Cedeno-Santana dragging the man outside.

After police confirmed there was an active arrest warrant for Cedeno-Santana, he was pulled over and taken into custody without incident.

Cedeno-Santana was charged with alleged second-degree assault.

Cedeno-Santana will appear in Hillsborough Superior Court North on July 16.

Anyone accused of a crime is innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
