MANCHESTER, N.H. – On Wednesday, police responded to the Mall of New Hampshire after reports of a man brandishing a firearm.
That incident led to the arrest of 61-year-old Ibrahim Slaybe, an employee at a jewelry kiosk in the mall.
According to police, an individual tried to sell Slaybe a ring, but the individual did not have proper identification. That sparked an argument and the individual walked away. When the individual turned back toward the kiosk, police report that Slaybe pointed a gun at him.
Slaybe was charged with alleged criminal threatening. He was released on personal recognizance bail with a court date of Nov. 7.
Anyone accused of a crime is innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
