MANCHESTER, NH – Police SWAT searched a home on 29 Prospect St., first floor, on Jan. 9 as part of a month-long drug investigation. The target of the investigation was Brandon Andrade, 28, of Manchester, who was stopped driving a 2005 Jeep Cherokee by police in the area of Union and Myrtle streets on Thursday.
Andrade was taken into custody and charged with two warrants for sale of a controlled drug. A search prior to his arrest revealed Andrade was in possession of 26 grams of heroin, .3 grams of crack cocaine and $2,000 in cash.
Investigators also executed a search warrant shortly after the arrest of Andrade at 29 Prospect St., first floor, and seized a loaded handgun, 211 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl (estimated street value of $10,000) and 10.7 grams of crack cocaine inside of the apartment.
Due to the fact Andrade was in possession of the drugs, he was additionally charged with two counts possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute and habitual offender. He is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on January 10, 2018.
