Man accused of robbing Masonic Temple

MANCHESTER, N.H. – On Friday afternoon, police arrested 30-year-old Joseph McDonough of Allenstown on charges of alleged burglary.

At approximately 2:20 p.m., police received multiple alarm activations from multiple entrances at the Masonic Temple on Elm Street. Shortly after arrival, officers heard footsteps upstairs and then saw a man with a large backpack walk down the stairs and toward the front door.

Police orders the man, identified as McDonough, to stop. He complied and officers found several items belonging to the Masonic Temple in his bag.

McDonough will be in Hillsborough Superior Court North on July 25, 2019.

Anyone accused of a crime is innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
