Performers of all ages, backgrounds, and styles are invited.
MANCHESTER, NH – Studio 550 welcomes performers of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds to its Open Mic Night on Tuesday, February 28. Studio 550 is hoping for a variety of performers, from music, to spoken word, to solo/duets/trios. There is no cost for performers or for listeners. Sign ups for this all-ages show begin at 6 p.m., and performances go from 6:30-8 p.m.
The Studio 550 Tea Room will be open and serving 24 different flavors of loose-leaf tea.
The hope is that this will be a “listening room” and foster a community of musicians and performers to share their work, instead of a music backdrop to a bar scene. The evening will be hosted by artist and musician Jyl Dittbenner.
There will be a simple PA with two inputs (vocal and instrument) but the space will be small enough that acoustic would be perfectly fine.
