Upon hearing that they would have to vacate their leased Downtown Manchester building due to the owner’s redevelopment plans, they launched a search for a new home – eventually settling on the Page Street building.

Renovations were done to ensure the space would meet the needs of both The Majestic Theatre and Ted Herbert Music School. The property now has nine music studios, theatre rehearsal spaces, a recital hall, as well as offices and costume/prop storage. With the help of many volunteers in late December The Majestic relocated to the property, which provides 7,000 square feet, onsite parking and easy access to city and highways.

They give a special thanks to the Norwin S. & Elizabeth N. Bean Foundation for providing a grant to support part of the renovation and relocation. Continued fundraising will be done to support phase two: central air conditioning to remaining studios prior to the summer.
