Lorette Leafe, 73: Wife, mother, grandmother, genealogist, worked many years at Osram Sylvania

MANCHESTER, NH – Lorette A. (Gobeil) Leafe, 73, of Manchester, died March 11, 2017 at her home after a period of declining health.

She was born in Manchester on November 30, 1943 to Henri and Gertrude (Doucet) Gobeil. She graduated from Pembroke Academy and attended Notre Dame College. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.

Lorette worked at Osram Sylvania in Manchester for many years. She had a great interest in genealogy and was a member of the American-Canadian Genealogical Society. She was also a cheerleader coach for the South Sabres football team.

The family includes her husband of 53 years, Stephen M. Leafe of Manchester; three children, Michael Leafe and his wife, Jane, of Manchester, Ann-Marie Bishop of Cheshire, CT and James Eric Leafe and his wife, Debbie, of Land O’ Lakes, FL; six grandchildren, Tucker Bishop, Thomas Bishop, Amber Leafe, Austin Leafe, Zachary Zeoli and Ashley Zeoli; a brother, Lionel Gobiel and his wife, Sylvia, of Suncook; and nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Friday from 10 a.m. to noon followed immediately at noon with a funeral ceremony at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.
