MANCHESTER, NH – Loretta L. Brady, Ph.D., APA-CP has been named to serve on the board of trustees for the Granite YMCA.
“Dr. Brady brings significant experience and expertise to our board,” said Harold J. Jordan, President and CEO, Granite YMCA. “We are very excited to have her join our organization.”
As Principal and Founder of BDS Insight, Brady provides executive coaching and organizational training on matters of culture, crisis response and conflict management for businesses and non-profits. She is also a tenured full Professor at Saint Anselm College, where she directs psychology student internship and teaches courses in Organizational Psychology, Cross-Cultural Psychology and Research Methods. Her previous appointments include the Manchester VA Hospital and Elliot Hospital Pain Management Center.
She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University.
In addition to her new board post at the Granite YMCA, Brady serves on the New Hampshire Psychological Association’s Ethics Committee and is a regular contributor to NH Business Review (A Seat at the Table) and the online news site Manchester Ink Link (Clarity in Chaos). She resides in Manchester with her husband Brian, and their five children.
“Board members and community volunteers are integral to helping the YMCA meet its mission,” noted Mr. Jordan. “We strongly feel that Dr. Brady is an excellent addition to our leadership board and look forward to her contributions and insight.”
