MANCHESTER, NH – More than 100 people lined up outside Sam’s Club on Thursday, waiting for it to open at noon after being closed for the past two days. On Wednesday, the company announced they will be permanently closing the Manchester Sam’s Club location.

Some shoppers showed up as early at 10:30 a.m. to see if there were discounted items due to the closure announcement.

However, several people mentioned as they exited the store that few items were discounted, noting that some electronic display items were discounted $10.

A Manchester Police officer was on detail outside the store, which by noon was allowing five people in as five people left, to control the shopping crowd.
