Kim Roy of Radisson Hotel honored as Community Hero

For her 33 years of service at the Radisson, and lots of community caring and support.

Kim Roy accepts the annual Officer Michael Briggs Community Hero Award during the June 25 NH Fisher Cats Game.

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police Chief Nick Willard presented Kim Roy of the Radisson Hotel with the annual Officer Michael Briggs Community Hero Award on June 25, 2017 at the New Hampshire Fisher Cats game. Roy has worked for the Radisson Hotel for the past 33 years and is quite active in the Manchester Community.

She was honored in 2016 with Radisson’s President’s Award, and was also featured in NH Business Review as an Outstanding Woman in Business. In addition, Roy serves on the GMCC (Greater Manchester Chamber Commerce) board, chairs the Leadership Manchester Board steering committee, and acts as the Vice Chair of the UNH Co-operative Extension Advisory Council, and recently joined Manchester Connects.

She supports many organization through in-kind and volunteer services including: Manchester Police/Officer Nicholas Harrington Golf Tournament, Manchester Parks and Recreation, New Horizons, Easter Seals, YMCA, Singer Family Blood Drive and the Bob Baines Blarney Breakfast.
