Kevin Purcell, 36: Loved hiking with his sons

MANCHESTER, NH — Kevin M. Purcell, 36, of Manchester, lost his battle with addiction on January 28, 2018.

He was born in Manchester on August 19, 1981, to Linda M. (Staples) Frenzel and Scott A. Purcell.

Kevin lived in Manchester for most of his life. He attended Pinkerton Academy and worked as a material handler for Londonderry Freezer.

Kevin was very outgoing and fun. He had a passion for playing basketball and loved spending time hiking with his sons. Above all, Kevin will be remembered as a wonderful father, son, grandson, brother, stepson, stepbrother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

The family includes two sons, Aidyn Purcell of Manchester, and Gavin Purcell of Nashua; his father, Scott Purcell and significant other, Donna Paquin of Manchester; his mother, Linda Frenzel and husband Martin of Center Barnstead; his paternal grandparents, Lois Collins, and Richard Purcell; his maternal grandfather, William Staples; one brother, Shawn Purcell; one sister, Heather Purcell; three stepbrothers, Nick Paquin, and Jonathan and Connor Frenzel; one niece; four nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester.
