MANCHESTER, NH — On June 20, Old Sol Music Hall will partner with End Hunger NE, Intown Manchester and New Hampshire Institute of Art to host the first-ever Old Sol Summer Serve-a-thon and Concert. This celebration of the Summer Solstice will unite the Manchester community through hands-on service and live music. Show starts at 5:30 p.m.

Summer Serve-a-thon: More than 100 volunteers will team up with Team Old Sol to package dry ingredients into 20,000+ ready-to-cook meals. Volunteers from local businesses and organization represent: AmeriCorps VISTA; Anthem; City Year NH alumni; Heartwood Media; Hoyle, Tanner, and Associates, Inc.; SilverTech; and St. Mary’s Bank. The meals packaged will be donated to community organizations working to support local families experiencing food insecurity — right here in Manchester.

Free Outdoor Concert: After service wraps up, join us in Victory Park at 5:30 p.m. for a high-energy set by Bella’s Bartok, marking the kickoff of Intown Manchester’s Summer Fest 2016! With multiple awards under their belts, including The Deli Magazine’s Best of New England (twice!), this eclectic group of guys has carefully crafted a sound that is part strange and creepy, part pop gold.

Old Sol Music Hall, Inc. is laying the groundwork to establish a new performance venue and community center in Downtown Manchester. Old Sol Music Hall will leverage the arts to create positive social and environmental impact by giving patrons the opportunity to make a difference at every show.
