MANCHESTER, NH – Are you ready for more snow this week? Good, because we have another snow storm brewing for Thursday with a double-whammy of weekend snow to follow, according to the Weather Underground.

As for the here and now, today’s higher temps have melted off the remnants of Tuesdays snow and ice just in time for the Winter Storm Watch, issued Wednesday by the National Weather Service out of Gray, Maine.

  • Hazard types: Snow on Thursday
  • Accumulations: Potential for 6 inches or more of snow Thursday.
  • Timing: Snow on Thursday will be mainly during the daylight hours.
  • Impact: Snow- and ice-covered roads will lead to hazardous travel conditions.
  • Winds: Northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
  • Temperatures: In the 20s.
  • Precautionary/preparedness action: A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may make travel hazardous.
