MANCHESTER, NH – Get your modern jazz fix on Aug. 12 when Sofferman Trio Perspective lands at Amoskeag Studio Aug. 12 at 8 p.m.
The Sofferman Trio Perspective has been performing across New England and New York for several years, playing festivals, clubs, and private events. Alto saxophonist Rick Stone, bassist Sean Farias, and drummer/leader Brooke Sofferman have an uncanny telepathy when they play together. Drawing from Sofferman’s extensive original modern jazz music, the trio also incorporates songs from the Great American Songbook, and even rock and pop genres. Doors open at 7 p.m.; concert starts at 8 p.m.
Amoskeag Studio is located at 250 Commercial St., Suite 2007, in the Waumbec Mill.
