After rumors swirling for a few months, it looks like Janet’s Unbreakable Tour just broke down – but maybe because she’s ready to have a baby!

UPDATE: April 11, 2016: The Janet Jackson Unbreakable tour stop in Manchester for June 21 is cancelled. No reschedule date has been determined. Ticket holders will be contacted when the new date is set. Tickets held for the original date will remain valid for the rescheduled date. Customers holding tickets who plan to attend the rescheduled date do not have to take any action. Refunds are available upon request for customers who cannot attend the rescheduled date, at point of purchase.

MANCHESTER, NH – On April 6 Janet Jackson released a personal message to fans via Facebook informing them of “a sudden change” that has forced her to cancel the second-leg of her Unbreakable tour, “doctor’s orders.”

Jackson, 49, said she’s working on starting a family with her husband, Wissam Al Mana, 41. They have been married since 2012.

In the video, also posted above via her Twitter feed, Jackson apologized for the bad news, and then smiled broadly when she spilled the good news, as to why she was cancelling the tour. She promised fans that the tour is “postponed” and not cancelled.

It was not clear from her message whether she is confirming a pregnancy or just working on it – depends on how you interpret “sudden change.”

Jackson was scheduled to appear at the Verizon Wireless Arena on June 21.

Contacted Wednesday morning, Jason Perry, Director of Sales & Marketing for the Verizon Wireless Arena/SMG, said that he is still waiting for official confirmation “from the Janet camp” about the status of the tour.

The official statement issued Wednesday by the Verizon is below:

“Following Janet’s recent announcement, further details regarding the Unbreakable World Tour will be forthcoming.  Fans should stay tuned to JanetJackson.com, Verizonwirelessarena.com and LiveNation.com for the latest updates regarding the tour.”

The only reference to the cancellation on Jackson’s official Unbreakable Tour site is a scrolling link at the top to Jackson’s Twitter feed, which posted the video message about 6 a.m. EST.

We’ll report back with the official word as soon as we get it, although it will probably be all over your social media feeds by then.

Jackson’s Unbreakable Tour quietly began canceling dates in towns around the country last month, although at that time Perry said there was no notice of cancellation for the Verizon.
