Jan. Spruce Street shooting investigation leads to arrest of victim on drug charges

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to a shooting on January 18, 2017 at 367 Spruce Street. The victim, Dwayne Reddick, 43, sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his hand after two armed subjects entered his third floor apartment.

The initial investigation revealed the home invasion did not appear to be random and a subsequent search warrant was executed inside Reddick’s apartment. Detectives located and seized two safes which allegedly contained more than  170 grams of cocaine and cash. Detective Neil Penttinen completed an arrest warrant on January 23, 2017.

Reddick was arrested Feb. 23 at 4:30 p.m. inside of 321 W. Mitchell Street. He was charged with possession of controlled drug with intent to sell, and taken into custody without incident. He was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on February 24, 2017.
