Jacques ‘Jack’ Beliveau, 81: Avid golfer, retired Iron Worker and Guardsman, beloved family man

MANCHESTER, NH – Jacques E. “Jack” Beliveau, 81, of Manchester, died on February 9, 2017.

He was born in Manchester on March 23, 1935 to Idola and Violette (Allaire) Beliveau. He lived in Manchester for most of his life and wintered in Punta Gorda, FL, for many years.

Screen Shot 2017 02 12 at 4.50.30 PMHe served in the National Guard, was an iron worker with Local 474 in Manchester for many years and also worked in the family business, United Glass, in Manchester.

Jack was an avid golfer and a member of the Intervale Country Club and the Profile Seniors Golf Association. He loved his wife, his children and grandchildren and was always there to go the extra mile for them whenever needed or wanted.

He enjoyed playing hockey, motorcycle riding and racing, driving big trucks and restoring cars.

The family includes his wife of 59 years, Jackie (Charron) Beliveau; three children, Donna Delacoe, Randy Beliveau and his wife, Sue, and Lisa Pluchino and her husband, Jeff; three grandchildren, Zenya Koprowski, Ian Beliveau and Sarah Beliveau; four brothers, Maurice Beliveau, Marcel Beliveau and his wife, Sylvia, George Beliveau and Jean Beliveau and his wife, Cheryl; and nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester. A funeral ceremony is Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Rte 101, Bedford, NH, 03110.
