MANCHESTER, NH – It was just another Friday for Andrew Boyle – until he got the email from the InkLink that he was last week’s big winner of our random gift certificate raffle.

I met up with Andrew at his lovely home and found out that we have lots of common ground – our sons went to Central High School together, we had some common acquaintances (including John Clayton, his around-the-way neighbor) and that we both love R&B legend Al Green.

Andrew Boyle asked, and we delivered an easy button ⇑.

More importantly, we discovered that we both enjoy what the InkLink brings to our community – I enjoy dishing up the news, information and stories that connect us as a city, and he enjoys consuming what I dish up. In fact, Andrew said he’d appreciate information on which candidates are coming to the area, and so I rushed right home and created a section just for that. There’s an “easy button” on our home page now, where we’ll do our best to aggregate the upcoming Election 2020 candidate stops.

Because the thing I love most about being the boss lady at the InkLink is reader feedback – I make it my business to listen, and be responsive. Although I can’t promise everyone will get exactly what they wish for, I will do my best to keep growing and improving the InkLink. The best way for you to support that goal is to become a contributor – you can support our cause for a one-time contribution of any amount, or become a monthly contributor for as little as $2 a month.

Back to Andrew. Turns out, he’s also a loyal listener to WMNH 95.3 FM Peter White and the Morning Show, the city’s only downtown morning radio show, and so he was familiar with my daily news recaps, which happen between 7:30-8 a.m., and the rest of the hilarity and hijinks that round out the program, including fun and games, and some great interviews with the city’s movers and shakers.

Andrew, like me, also has a taste for spicy Southern foods, and so winning a $50 gift certificate to Madear’s Manchester was the best part of all for Andrew, who plans to take his wife Mary-Jo out for some delicious food and a side-order of Southern charm, which is always on the menu courtesy of co-owners Robb Curry and Kyle Davis.

Andrew has been a subscriber to the InkLink since November 2017, and we appreciate that. But anyone can get in on the running for our reader appreciation raffles. Just click here to sign up for our daily eNews. It’s that easy.
