MANCHESTER, NH –  InTown Manchester is gearing up for this season’s Community Farmers Market, which is moving from Victory Park to Stanton Plaza on Elm Street – in front of the Manchester Downtown Hotel (formerly the Radisson). Opening Day of the market is Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 3 – 6 p.m., and the market will run every Thursday until October 4.

Intown Executive Director Sara Beaudry says the new location will elevate the market by putting it front and center in the city’s downtown.

“This market will be the community highlight this summer and I could not be happier with the new location. We want this market to be not only a place where you get the best local vegetables but a place for crafts and artisans, a place to do yoga, grab a bite to eat and enjoy our amazing downtown,” says Beaudry. “It’s going to be a place where you want to shop, relax and enjoy. This market will be the center gathering spot of the summer.”

This season’s market will feature many local farmers and artisans. Also this year, yoga in the plaza will be back starting July 12 at 3 p.m., and it’s free. Meanwhile, each market will be themed, and will include prize giveaways and contests, free activities for the kids, live music, art demonstrations and great food!

Ben and Jerry’s will be on site opening day with free ice cream, and free TD Bank shopping bags will be distributed. Also on site, live music from Andy Kiniry, the Smoothie Bus, the new Manchester Brew Bus, Let’s Play Music.

This year’s market is produced by Intown Manchester and sponsored by TD Bank, AARP, NH Blacktop Sealers, The Manchester Downtown Hotel, and Organization of Refugee and Immigrant Success (O.R.I.S.), an ethnic community-based organization located in Manchester which aids in the resettlement of refugee and immigrant groups by providing assistance, training, resources, and opportunities that promote self-sufficiency.
