Election Day Hotline

CONCORD, NH – A Primary Day hotline has been established to field complaints of election fraud and/or voter abuse.

The  hotline number, 603-230-2503, will be active on primary election day, Feb. 9.

Assistant United States Attorney Mark S. Zuckerman of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, will oversee complaints of election fraud and abuse of voting rights in consultation with Justice Department Headquarters in Washington, D.C. In order to respond to these complaints and address any abuse of voting rights, AUSA Zuckerman will be on duty while the polls are open.

“The right to vote without interference or discrimination, and to have that vote counted, is the bedrock on which our democracy is built. Information about discrimination or election fraud should be reported immediately to my office, the FBI, or the Civil Rights Division. The Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney’s Office will act promptly and aggressively to ensure that those who seek to undermine the integrity of the election process are brought to justice,” said Rice in a news release issued Feb. 1.

Complaints about ballot access problems or discrimination may be made directly to the Civil Rights Division’s Voting Section in Washington, D.C. at 1-800-253-3931.
