HOOKSETT, N.H. – Terrance Jackson, 26, of Manchester was arrested by Hooksett Police following an encounter on Oct. 20 at the Firebird Motel in Hooksett.
An officer was patrolling the area and began a conversation with Jackson, noticing that drug paraphernalia could be seen in plain view inside the room Jackson was staying in.
The officer also ascertained that Jackson, a convicted felon, had a firearm inside his hotel room as well.
Hooksett Police later obtained a search warrant and found an unloaded Colt revolver in the room.
An arrest warrant was obtained for Jackson on Oct. 27 and he eventually turned himself into the Hooksett Police Department.
Police later discovered that Jackson had 12 packs of non-prescribed suboxone hidden inside of his wheelchair.
Jackson was charged with alleged possession of a deadly weapon by a firearm, possession of a controlled drug, possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell and falsification of physical evidence.
Jackson was placed in preventative detention and transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections. His arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 7 at Merrimack County Superior Court.
Anyone arrested is innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
