⇒ RELATED STORY: Charges against Thomas Ford Jr. dropped; another man charged with assault of Han’s market owner.
At about 1 p.m on Sept. 7 Manchester Police responded to a 911 call for an assault in progress at the neighborhood market, located at 353 Maple St. Once Officers arrived, they came upon Yun was bloodied and had obviously been assaulted, and was somewhat disoriented. However, he was able to describe his assailant as a white male approximately 5-foot-10 with a thin build wearing a gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt with black sweatpants. Upon further investigation it was learned that an armed robbery had also occurred.
Yun was taken to Elliot Hospital where he was being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was listed in “good” condition Wednesday night.
Detectives working on the case developed leads and issued active warrants for Ford late Wednesday, for armed robbery as well as first-degree assault. Due to the nature of events, police say Ford should be considered armed and dangerous.
The investigation is ongoing.
