Hooksett man killed in Woodstock crash

WOODSTOCK, NH — A Hooksett man was pronounced dead at the scene of a Sept. 19 crash on I-93 in Woodstock.

New Hampshire State Police, Troop F, are investigating the crash, which was reported at about 2:25 a.m. Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2008 Nissan Altima was traveling north at mile marker 96 when it lost control, went off the roadway and collided with an embankment, causing the car to roll over several times.

The lone occupant of the car has been identified as Matthew D. Maylone, 23, of Hooksett. Police said Maylone was ejected from the vehicle, and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.

Assisting at the crash were members of the Woodstock, Lincoln, and Campton Police Departments as well as Fire and Rescue units from the Woodstock Fire Department.
