At approximately 7:15 a.m., the Hooksett Police Department along with the New Hampshire State Police took a report of a domestic situation involving a firearm. A woman reported that she had gone to her ex-boyfriend’s home in Hooksett to give him a ride and was threatened multiple times with a handgun and was restricted from leaving. Eventually she said was able to convince the male, Danny Bordeleau, to take her out of restraints and they left the house together. After a short time he exited her vehicle on foot and she was able to flag down a state trooper for assistance.

Bordeleau was located walking on Londonderry Turnpike in the area of Auburn Road and was taken into custody and, based on the allegations and evidence gathered from the residence, he was charged with kidnapping-domestic violence-related, domestic violence simple assault, two counts domestic violence criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, and domestic violence criminal threatening.

Bordeleau refused bail and was transported to the Merrimack County House of Correction where he was arraigned on August 28, 2019. Bordeleau is being held at this time pending trial. A search warrant was executed where the incident occurred. Evidence of the crime, including the suspected firearm, was recovered.

Anyone accused of a crime is innocent unless proven guilty by a court of law.
