MANCHESTER, NH — There’s a wind advisory in effect from 10 a.m. this morning to 5 p.m. this afternoon for Hillsborough County. Also, temperatures will continue to drop, which adds some intrigue to this week’s weather, as indicated below – which includes some precipitation in Tuesday’s forecast.
The National Weather Service in Gray, Maine, has issued the following advisory as of January 4:
* Winds…west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* Timing…winds will rapidly become strong and gusty by mid to late morning.
* Impacts…downed trees or tree limbs resulting in power outages.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult — especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
